We went to Charlie's on a Friday night with 9 people for outdoor seating. I guess her parents didn't care about the filth. Family friendly? I would say yes because there were children running around the tables and one little girl, approx age 3, was rolling around in the nasty floor. If I were the owner, I wouldn't admit to owning it either. I'm talking about Chernobyl charred! There is a reason why this place is 'unclaimed' on Trip Advisor. I'm not talking about overcooked/charred. Fried foods are safe, right? They were charred. We were hungry, but ordered food against my better judgement.
The menus were sticky and the table was only cleaned as far as the waitress could reach (2/3 of the table).
It honestly looked like a dog had hiked his leg on it, but it could have been a customer given the people that were there. I wasn't sure if it was urine or a spilled drink. I had heard that it was under 'new management', but this place was NASTY! All caps intended. She wasn't there on the night we were there. You know, I had a relative that swears by this place.
